Just terrible.
The style of footy we’re playing is awful. Slow kick mark off the backline. Going from side to side and then bombing it long to a contest? Where our players don’t contend? Rinse and repeat.
Boggles the mind.
Absolutely perfect way to end a ■■■■ week. Happy to give the game next Saturday night a miss at this stage. Club can get stuffed with this rubbish.

whats the alternative? another 20 years of we’re 1-2 years away, a new head coach away? a new fitness team away?
the club needs to grow up and realise it needs to do a full rebuild .

We clearly don’t train anywhere near match realism cause we cant perform skills when under any sort of pressure.
We still haven’t learnt that opposition teams know to man up when we exit our defensive fifty. With no open options they know the next kick is long down the line. We won’t run through. They win the fifty fifty and immediately take the corridor. So many uncontested runs through the corridor makes defence for us virtually impossible.
You beat man on man by carrying the ball and running. We are clearly instructed not to do this. Tactically we don’t play with what’s in front of us. It’s stubborn in a way.
Which leads to the mids. Defence getting heaps of possession switching, mids wont lead or work together to open a player to lead.
Then even when we are within a forward entry. We go backwards and wide to then get a shallow entry to the fifty. So when we waste time doing this there are 18 bulldogs in our fifty. Can’t lead when there is no space.
Our mids seem not to help each other. We don’t know what they will do play to play. If one is tagged the other doesnt step up. Ours mids play as individuals. We rarely have the full group of mids dominate. Even if it happens its for five / ten minutes a full game.
Worst still, we make changes but it feels each player comes in not knowing what to do. The players left in don’t know what to do with the changes either. Noticed we’ve stopped pointing in stoppages? No instructions from senior players. Mids are full on confused.
Hobbs was being smashed as well. Not one person stood up for him. That looked awful.
We really need those mids who don’t know anything else.

A new recruitment team and play some of the younger players to see what they can do.

If we are rebuild we have to do it smart and that ls not by blowing up the list like most want on here
