If we had of lost a close one, we would still think we could go ok in a final. But we wouldnt make it.(cos this side isnt going 5-0)
At least this way we know we are ■■■■, will miss finals and can play the kids.
And we have some sweet kids to pump games into.

The result tonight isn’t really surprising.
We saw who we were playing against, and just like last week, conceded defeat before the ball was bounced.
Since August 2014, a whole 9 years ago, we’ve beaten Geelong, Richmond, and the Bulldogs, a combined total of 4 times from 35 games. That’s almost a 90% losing rate against three teams.
I understand, and have always accepted that we are years away (even when we were winning earlier this year), but it’s the manner of defeat from the last 2 games that has disappointed me. Two very cowardly performances, from a club that has absolutely no respect for itself.

Trying to be positive about this year as a whole. But when we look at it as a whole we have played the great pretenders once again with a soft draw. Beaten one team in the 8. Barely scraped past North, Richmond. Lost to Freo.
Can anyone seriously see us beating Sydney, GWS or Collingwood? I don’t. And I hope we don’t. Rather we miss finals now and finish as low as possible.
There is one common theme about this club in the last 20 years - yep you got it - Adrian Dodoro. Must lose his job. Simply must.
Jake Stringer and Darcy Parish can both ■■■■ off.
Stringer preaches mid week that he wants to be a Bomber for the rest of his career. Well I hope he’s not. 8 disposals and no impact.
Darcy is gone. Completely tuned out. Thinks he’s a lot better than he is. Fine see you later. Hope your next club enjoys your complete and utter lack of defence. Libba gave him a full on lesson tonight.
Two things continues
to separate us from the rest - mental fragility and lack of a game winning star. We continue to throw games away when umpiring doesn’t go away or it becomes too contested and too hard. Uncontested is the way. Take that away from us we cannot compete. I don’t see an A grade game winning player on our list. We need a Bont/Cripps/Dusty. Stringer isn’t it.
I’m now 27 years old. Have followed the Bombers my entire life. We are 20 years since winning a final. 20 YEARS. Not a grand final. A FINAL. I am sick to death of being such a vanilla, poxy, flakey, pathetic football club. Nothing has changed. We are perennially cursed for life.

I reckon there was a point in the last quarter where I saw a look on Phillips’ face that said…

Bees to the honey pot at the contest tonight, while still being second to the ball for the most part. We had 2 guys go to the ball carrier so many times tonight and they were able to find guys outside the contest by hand again and again.
We didn’t have enough players holding their width so they could be dangerous on the outside.
Very disappointing performance from the midfield.

Our issue is Parish. Hes no good for this group. Hes the right fit elsewhere. A side with mature inside mids
