It’s King keep it cool he always says that about Essendon
I don’t want him saying anything positive about our club he reinforces to our group ■■■■ you must work towards not listen to trip from a journo

Buddy will turn it on again
Game was over a quarter time, Geelong put cue in the rack.
But boy, does Dangerfield love playing us.
Brushed away our mids like flies thanks Dodo your refusal to draft big mids is the reason why
I can’t for the life of me workout how people claim that our midfielders were our best players…… after being utterly uncompetitive in the first quarter.
They were the very reason the match was over in the first 10 mins.
You might as well claim that Zerk-Thatcher was in our best, because he was great after being moved off Hawkins.
People get wowed by disposal stats, but the midfield group copped a football lesson.
TECHNICALLY if we played the Wednesday after Anzac Day it would be a 0 day break
Thursday 1 day break
Friday 2 day break
Saturday 3 day break
Sunday 4 day break
However I have never seen it like this following AFL in my time.
geelong could have done to us what they did to sydney.
they didnt cause we cracked in and gave a ■■■■.
Yep, they collectively should be ashamed of the dominance they allowed.
Im actually glad we play them again this year.
Yes, i know that sounds like madness.
as is supporting this entity
You think the midfield would have responded after the demolition they copped in the last qrt on Anzac Day but nope started the game like we left.
Cats are quite happy to start blicavs in the centre as a ruck rover with another truck taking the bounce. Dees have no one anywhere near his size, no one does.
It didn’t look like tension to me, not in the sense of people arguing with one another. It looks in that photo like five adults all heavily invested in what they’re doing and definitely all on the same page. They’re obviously concerned, and why wouldn’t they be? But they’re not pointing fingers and blaming each other. I think it’s a good photo.
Our rucks have become complacent far too quickly.
Over abundance of “mids” doesn’t work - see last year. We had 1 or 2 too many against the cats.
Structure held up but boy do we need a 100kg key back.
Poor decision making and skills costs you, doesn’t matter the level of talent.
Thought we made the most of our chances but gave up too many. To me that was the blueprint on how to beat Essendon; get players around the ball and press high.
They weren’t big enough. Just brushed aside by bigger, stronger opponents.
I agree with this in part , but in the last two weeks I’ve noticed that both Collingwood and Geelong have managed to find outlets on the switch to the fat side wings and we’ve struggled to close that off before they reach half forward or beyond. There’s still some stuff to tidy up / positioning / workrate etc.
Its obvious the Geelong pre game midfield planning is when playing us…
these guys are susceptible to physical pressure, so lets place all our strong bodied mids in there, and hit them hard early. They will wilt.
Which we have the last few times.
Danger, Holmes, Atkins, plus having Blicavs in there at times with SDK as Ruck.
The next midfield duel with them at Kardinia Park will be very, very interesting !
They’re asking why we don’t have more paloalto sponsorship logos on the box. Ridiculous.
You could probably use that as an excuse later in the match when our midfield is tiring. But not in the first 15 minutes of a match.
There’s no excuses for how poor the midfield were in the first quarter. They left the defenders high and dry.
Our mental capacity dominates our physical and our potential.
The players really know how to hibernate well when they want.
This is going to be Brad biggest challenge, change their mindset and get up for every game
Build a winning culture, this played well but lose is good enough, and this build for the future idea must be minimised. The future is now, we can beat any team with this list it needs to be installed into the playing group.
Yep does anoy me that we seem happy with “even tho we lost we played well”
This mindset needs to go its now how you build a winning culture its why we have been crap for 20 years acepting performaces like yesterday
