Review vs Suns

I don’t like Merrett behind the ball, he takes the wrong risks. Just start Langford in Ridleys spot and bring Johnson/Prior in for Ridley to play langfords wing 7th defender role?

Reminded me of when Truck was coaching and we challenged Sydney up in Sydney in 2021

If the suns lost would they feel like they let it slip? I mean 17.17, they should’ve been well clear.

im happy they showed some fight and all but this feels a bit 2021, with a more talented group of young players and more competent people in charge, so not getting carried away yet

That’s how I feel

I’m adding Day-Wicks to my list of kids I think are good enough. A lot to like about the way he is going about it, and I think he will develop into a good player.

On the negative side, I got to the stage today where I was hoping Caldwell DIDN’T get the ball.

Somethings not right.

Iam very much looking forward to Hayes coming back and being a option

This was farkin weird. It was ages after the incident too. Didn’t know umpires were qualified medically either.

At least you think there was an incident. I have no idea why they dragged him. It arguably lost us the game.

They don’t come much softer than Reid.

You’d think then that they’d sort the fkg transport out. I parked at Nerang station, got back there before most others, still took a full 45 minutes just to get out of the car park! It’s farking horrendous.

Some bad errors here and there in the game, but the result was better than I hoped for, which was to stay within 40 points. Was very warm, players would be well cooked.

If Petracca doesn’t play, then we win that game (just like Melbourne and Swans were able to).

Conversely, if they had kicked straight we lose by 50 points.

Night and Day.
I was at the game 6months ago 95 point loss
And I was at the game today with a 9 point loss.
The difference is stark in such a positive way.
A lot and I mean a lot to like

I’ve been holding off on McKay but the stats are matching the eye test with him now.

He just doesn’t win enough contests. Losing 35% of his defensive 1v1’s, lowest intercept marks and spoils per game in five or six seasons and leading a defence that still ships a score 56% of the time the opposition goes inside 50.

Yep, last week was the equivalent of when we smashed st kilda at Marvel
