ACTOR Leonard Nimoy, who won fans worldwide for his generations-spanning role as the pointy-eared half-human half-Vulcan Mr Spock in the Star Trek television and film franchise, died Friday at age 83.
Nimoy, who suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, died at his home in Los Angeles. His wife, Susan Bay Nimoy, confirmed the death to the New York Times.
If I knew more about Star Trek I’d put some sort of poignant quote here. LLAP.
Live long a while & prosper (from the 1st main character you ever play, that you never live down, ... which then severely inhibits further prospering. )
Vale Mr Spock.
Once he embraced Spock it actually opened up further for him in other areas. However he was also an accomplished directer with films like 3 Men and A Baby under his belt.
He will be grealty missed by legions of fans and moreso by those who were close to him. My condolences to them all.
For me, he made Star Trek. Good to see him involved in the later films as well.
Boldly going where no Vulcan had ever gone before. Spock’s was always the coolest
head in any crisis. RIP.
Liked his work on In Search Of (I reckon every second episode featured Project Bluebook, must have been one hell of an investigation) and that show I used to watch with the alternate universe, too…

Lets face it, the coolest head full stop. Those ears & brows were the shiz.
