Rob Kerr

A big thank you to Rob Kerr. He came into the position when the club was at its lowest ever point, and has helped turn things around in a very short space of time. He departs now having fulfilled his brief, and leaves us in a far better position, than we have been in for many years. Cheers for all the work you have done Rob.

l am sure the club will do their due diligence and will attract a number of highly qualified applicants.

Would be fantastic. Very level headed, intelligent man, and his blood is black and red.

Surely more value in a recruiting role. Donā€™t think sheā€™d be up for such a senior role yet.

Plenty of player managers have moved into similar roles.
Give Paul Connors a call :grinning:

Peopleā€™s blood does not need to bleed red and black for these people to do good jobs.

In fact sometimes I would rather an outsider as it removes all emotion.

This is a job, itā€™s a profression. Itā€™s not a letā€™s get someone who goes for Essendon, theyā€™ll do a better job because of it.

Steve Hocking might be out of range now. Got Lethleanā€™s gig, didnā€™t he, without having to boof female staff.

Simon Madden?Got the brains, Please not Heffernan. I just dont trust that guy.

Whatā€™s Paul Hamilton up to these days, he was a good Essendon man.

Iā€™d happy for Heff to do it, but I doubt heā€™d want it.

Me too

What makes you not trust him?

The saga

But people would trust Hird, who was front and centre.

What did he do during the saga that was so bad?

Slimy person who was a poor player and worse administrator.
