Roger Rogerson

Rentokil is one of the all time great pseudonyms.

Dear Dr Edelsten's mate?
And while i'm paying, why do he and these plastic-titted monstrosities get such publicity, particularly in football circles.

Probably because he used to own the Sydney Swans.

Seriously thought this bloke was a musician when I saw the name.

l saw Supertramp live at the old Festival Hall. Great band, great show.

Good old Festival Hall had to be hottest venue for live performances. It was a sweatbox.

A personal fave. His first solo album, and the first CD l ever bought. Some outstanding, killer tracks. lIRC the first single from it, Showdown At Big Sky actually charted in Melb in the late 80's. My other fave tracks from this LP were Sweet Fire Of Love with US in full flight, the anti Vietnam war rocker Hell‘s Half Acre and the last track Testimony. He also did a great soundtrack for a minor movie Carney. For me, his best ever solo album was another soundtrack, to a PBS TV series, Native Americans, very evocative and powerful.
