Ross Hannaford RIP

A legend of Australian music and great guitarist, as all Espy stalwarts among others would know.

Bugger this, I’m selling my guitars. Too risky.

Looked older.

For those that want to know, Jon English has passed away at age 66.

My 3 fave Ross Hannaford tracks,
Jungle in My Blood - Mighty Kong. Short lived group formed with Ross Wilson after Daddy Cool broke up, this is the stand out track from the debut album.
I’m Only Human - Mark Gillespie. As funky as it is possible for a rock guitar to be played.
Hi, Honey Ho - Daddy Cool. The guitar playing on this is so much better than on Eagle Rock.

Daddy Cool founding member for those that may not know.

Wow, just wow!!! This is a big shock.
One of the 2 or 3 greatest Ozzie guitarists ever. RIP Hanna.

Sad :frowning:

RIP :frowning:

Gutted. Last year was still busking in town. Loved hearing him play.

■■■■■■ hell. Soon there will be no-one left in the music industry worth listening to.

Jesus H Christ!
The man lived at my place for 12 months back in the early nineties.
R.I.P Ross.
Had his demons, but a fabulous bloke.

Gutted. Last year was still busking in town. Loved hearing him play.

yeah I saw him as well, he was still brilliant

Is there anything more iconic in Oz rock than that guitar riff?

Daddy Cool founding member for those that may not know.

Daddy who?

Flies. Dropping like …

Vale.

Flies. Dropping like ...

Vale.

Are we still talking about priests in Ballarat…although I now hear that the C of E has been embroiled too.
