Rich v FC (MCG)
Geel v Freo (GMHBA)
Syd v Bris (SCG)
Dogs v Nth (MARV)
Coll v Port (MCG)
Adel v StK (AO)
Melb v GWS (MCG)
WCE v GC (OS)
Cats v Freo should be a top game. Big chance for Freo to show their credentials to go down to the Cattery and get the 4 points. North won’t have a better chance to beat a undermanned Dogs team. Pies will be keen to not fall into a 0-2 hole, plenty of pressure on Port with their succession plan.
Good mate of mine is a port fan, reckons if they start poorly, they’ll move on that sooner.
Collingwood will maul Port. Collingwood to Port is like what Geelong is to us (if that makes sense?).
Sydney vs Brisbane (SCG) and Melbourne vs GWS (MCG) look the pick of the games to me.
If Collingwood bring that glacially slow pace they did yesterday, Port will rinse them.
Unfortunately I don’t think we will see that two weeks in a row. Particularly at the MCG.
Not sure about that, as @FTWinderlich said yesterday, its bizzare they are running Pendles and Sidebottom smack in the middle consistently, any side with even decent pace will smoke them.
Pace is important but it ain’t everything.
I can see Port struggling a bit this year.
Butters missing negates some pace advantage Port may have had.
Not sure on the injury progress of Esava & Zerk ?
That game is as hard to read as any.
No excuses for FC to not be winning by 60+
GWS will rinse Melbourne.
Hogan, Stringer and Green back into that team.
Looks doubtful that they come up by next week.
My injury update is from 6 days ago though.
Hows that a nice soft kill to get there season started off to a flyer
Port may drop off a bit. Dixon retiring, Houston to the Pies, Marshall, Georgiades, Zerk, Butters injured, Boak a year older, rumours that senior players like Bergman & Farrell are leaving at the end of the season…
Still early in the season - form can be choppy. Only a week and a bit ago Carlton rinsed GWS with Hogan in the team.
Stringer won’t play. They may not need to rush Green straight back in either
Nothing would please me more than Richmond causing the upset of the season.
Rioli can’t even get a game in this Tigers side.
Reckon he’s a lazy ar*e and being sent a message.
That’s surprising if he’s out of favour I wouldn’t mind us having nibble at getting him.
He’s a keg on legs at the minute. They’ve done the right thing to not gift him a game when he’s clearly let himself go.
You love these fat players, don’t you ?
First Package, now Rioli !
