Pies pressure was too much for the Dogs. The Pies midfield group is very good (despite Stallions crap above) and work extremely hard both ways and it enables them to stifle the opposition forwards. As the Dogs don’t really have any decent ones at this time it was easy to stop them from scoring.
The Dogs missed wallis. He may be slow but he works damn hard, unlike a lot of other Dogs players.

spend 5 minutes on focusing in on the dogs, you will beat em. They just dont have the tools to adapt.

Boyd’s kicked 5 from 6 games, Schache 1 from 1.
That’s about $1.5M worth of player. As annoying as it is when Disco goes tall instead of mid at the draft, it’s the best way to get them in without paying stupid dollars.
And Tim Watson kicked the winning goal with less than a minute to go
Sadly, no. That was the third last game, in 1990.
As I recall, in that incident Bewick kicked it over his head from 30-40 out, and Watson did a tumbling mark running back with the flight at the top of the goal square.

Yeah they get shorter in the 2nd rounds
