Round 14 Non Essendon Games

Watched barely 15 mins of non Essendon games this weekend. 10 of those was because I was visiting my mate and he had Rich V Scum on.
I have about 5% of the interest in non Essendon games that I used to have. The game is more farcial and weighted towards money and entertainment over a genuine sporting contest.
Did see the Oliver dive on social media.
Pathetic! Hope hes embarrassed because he has been good this year from comments Ive heard.

How anyone can talk about % booster games this season is beyond me. Every game is far from a certainty regardless of opposition. You just can’t pencil any games in.

How did Prestia go today?
The games I saw him in earlier in the season he was a deadset crab. Looked slow and couldn’t kick over a jam tin. Haven’t seen him play for a few weeks now so don’t know if he has improved. Caddy can get the ball but he is a horrendous user of it and is great for hitting opposition players in the chest

He has always been that but he can get the ball and use it pretty well, he is decent and has played okay. he isn’t setting the world on fire though.

Caddy on the other hand is basically a spud.

Prestia’s kicking has always been below AFL standard and in fact has got worse at Richmond. He’s always been over-rated. Caddy has been solid and his playing style/role is in sync with Richmond’s style.

I remember how hyped Jarrod Pickett and Jarrod Garlett were in the lead up to the 2014? Draft. Hasn’t worked out that way. Pickett looks bog ordinary and not sure what issues Garlett had but he is already been delisted from the Suns.

Nailed it. More Clayton specials of over-rating the flashy outside player. Clayton is a major reason why the GC is in struggle town.

Couldn’t agree more, seems like the games follow a script these days… Melbourne look to be the next cab off the rank, commentators start drooling over them, umpires start favouring them, they win close games, become everyone’s 2nd team & then break their premiership drought…

Nothing to argue about. Prestia has always been overrated within the whole spectrum of the footy community. Has been more overrated on blitz. Fact is Prestias kicking has always been an issue. Leaving aside his kicking,his overall form has been a touch down on my expectations.

Unpopular opinion, but I’d rather Saints not have success. Don’t like that mob and would prefer Carlisle didn’t get to finals before the rest of our boys (yes, I’m still bitter!!)

Yes. And there’s that game at Moorabbin when they clobbered Neagle and Cahill. Can’t forget that one either!
