To go over there & win is difficult, to go over there & win the free kick count is something next level. We smashed them in every facet of the game there last year & still got raped.
Just on the pies, they have a lot of genuinely desperate players who attack the contest & man with a manic ferocity I just don’t think we have produced in living memory. Even the lesser skilled guys continually give second & third efforts. Sure they get away with a lot of throws in those close contests but its that ferocity & speed that allows then some benefit of the doubt. We see the throws on TV but the umps can’t even see them in WA. We need to get to that intensity level.
It’s easy if you can pause you live TV.
Just get the Radio stream of choice running before the game, wait until the Ump blows his whistle before the 1st bounce on the TV,… Pause TV, and start it again when you hear the Umps whistle via the radio stream.
If you are a touch behind, … you can then just pause the Rad Stream for small amounts until you get an exact sync, … still a tad ahead, … shrt TV pauses lock it together, but after you’ve done it a few times and know your Tv / PVR timing, … you generally just nail it straight up.
Only issue is, you’ll be about 20 secs behind the TV broadcast. ( a small price to pay to be Bwuce BT & Basil free) & a bit more in Regional areas. But that can be reduced to just a few seconds if you choose to use a DAB radio instead of an Internet or a Mobile radio stream, … which BTW, for some weird reason, is usually about 5 or 10 seconds quicker than one over internet via PC/Laptop.

Don’t get the attraction of a 5’10” leading/marking forward.
Smaller forwards should be in their to crumb first, pressure and tackle second, and hopefully also be able to drop back to the wing to break lines. Anything else is a bonus.
I thought he played ok kicked 3 goals against a good defensive team. If he gets any room you just can’t out mark him. The Collingwood small forwards also work well off him. If he was in our team he’d be getting a game next week after his effort last night.
I has missed the news and heard it before that Longmire won’t be leaving Sydney, just signed a contract extension. Norf lose out yet again to land a big fish.
Rare times when you want Hawthorn to win but wanting Freo to be shut down and stay on 7 wins before they play Sydney, Bulldogs, Geelong, Saints, Us and Port. And the Hawks ain’t gonna be no threat with there run home if we stay in contention for top 8 either.
