Close marks a 10 m pass backwards from Higgins. From out wide he goals from 45m.

That’s a ripping goal.
Blicavs pinged for deliberately strolling across the boundary line. Brayshaw takes the kick and slots it from the boundary line, an even better kick than Close at the other end.
Darcy is well on top of over the Cats in the ruck.
Close marks on the 50, Hawkins calls for it long, Close gets in quickly, Tom pushes off with brute strength, juggles the ball, takes the mark. Goals from 15m.
Close is a pretty handy player.
