Freo slip and turnover, the ball goes forward to Danger, he kicks from the same area as the last shot on goal, he just misses to the near side.
The ball is kicked back in long once more and Danger marks again. Slight angle, 15m out, and even Danger can’t miss from there. He could have had 3 goals, all shots were quite easy.
1/4 time
Gee 3.5 - 23
Fre 1.3 - 9
Fyfe didn’t get back on. Cats look a class above. Freo struggling to go with them. A few costly turnovers in the corridor have been the difference, with players slipping over.
Freo’s disposal is very poor. Handing goals to the Cats with their turnovers.

Wouldn’t be totally against seeing a Cats win here…
#7 back for the start of the second, good to see him on the ground again.

Fyfe is one tough bugger to play with a bung shoulder

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but Justin Leppitsch has no neck. (Fox Footy)

I reckon the Cats have an ‘Essington’ version as well.
We’ve seen it a bit the last few weeks… but they still win a majority of their bad games. Unlike us.
I reckon they are on bigtime tonight.
And bears a striking resemblance to Mitch Robinson.

Hawkins with a quick HB to Dalhaus, snaps the goal off the outside of his right foot.
Reminds me of an essington game Freo trying hard but execution letting them down
edit- Draper needs to be like Sean Darcy
Judging by the last kick, he’s most of the way there already…

Brad Close is becoming one of my favourite non Essendon players. Absolute star.

Has it been explained somewhere what the stars mean on the Freo jersey?
Are they magic?
