Taunting penalties in the NFL are at least usually worth it, here its a rub on the head
what’s annoying is that not long before that a Swans player ran straight through the mark and the ump was watching it and tells him to move on and the Freo player is telling him that’s 50.

Pathetic. Absolutely no worse than Warner shoving the Freo bloke after being awarded the free. That’s also taunting/unsportsmanlike.

AFL couldn’t have made it any clearer that rubbing a blokes head is a free kick.
It’s not that hard to just… Not do it.
Running through the mark is very clear by the AFL, you just don’t do it.
But then the umps let a Swans player do it.
You just don’t climb a goal post, made very clear by the AFL.
But then a Swans player does it and the umps allow it.
The Freo player led the swans player into the protective zone…no 50 is correct
Yeah, and umpire errors are bad.
Not sure of the point you’re trying to make here.
Like it or not it’s a rule now. People complaining about it every week probably unlikely to change that.
