Bring Clarke and my boy Nguyen back in.
DGAF about anything else.
Edit: Kondo too. Ridiculous he was given no game time after his best game for EFC.

How many Lions players get 40 possessions this week - Neale, Ashcorft, Zorko if he returns
It might be a good week for them to rest some players.
Out:
Parish - never again
Ridley - never again. Blokes a deadset cat
McKay
In:
Kondo
Clarke
Huss
Swing cox forward where heās shown a bit in the twos also
Theyād have to go scoreless if they were serious
McKay has to be dropped, for his own mental health. He looked lost and embarrassed to be out there on the weekend.
The club needs to care for him and that means letting him clear his head in the seconds. He needs a 2 to 3 week run as FB in the VFL. Ask him to be an on field coach and just enjoy himself.
As tempting as that may be, weād be shooting ourselves in the foot. Need these guys playing and looking fresh for best trade value. Risk is theyāll injure themselves but so be it. Make them earn their bloody trade
If you could trade him for a salary dump you would do that.
No club in the land would want him though, let alone pay his salary. You gotta hope the new coaching team will be able to waken these guys from their slumber. Scott really did kill off plyer development during his tenure.
Blitz getting ready to make changes
I love it
I want to cut so many, Iām afraid my scissors will get blunt
Iād deep six Ridley and Parish. Jobs for the boys to pump up their trade value / compo doesnāt reward effort or contribution and is self defeating. No contracts for Perkins, Cox, Guelfi or Gresham. Tsatas has his limitiations but has a crack. Nguyen likewise. Yesterday from level 2 it was apparent we had way too many joggers unwilling to accept responsibility. McKay, Redman and Langford Iād encourage to look around because next year itās all VFL, and they neither provide senior level leadership or are in our next premiership side.
Solomon on⦠midfield mix
I think initially we felt like weād get an edge in the midfield and at stoppage, and we put experienced players in there.
We felt the running patterns of Sullivan Robey and Dyson Sharp at half-forward would complement what weāre doing around stoppages, but also our ball use. But it didnāt happen.
The positive is those guys go in, they impact straight away. So, you know what? It puts pressure on our older guys in the midfield and thatās what we want.
These young guys are coming at a rapid rate. The older guys have got to fight to maintain their spot, and thatās what it is to be a healthy club, heading in the right direction.
The above is a quotation from part of the EFC websiteās summary of Solomonās post-match statement after the pisspoor performance against St. Kilda.
Read it a couple of times to get the full impact. Solomon is laying it on the line for the old stagers in the midfield. Heās had a bellyful of their lazy, incompetent attitude.
I canāt wait for Thursdayās team selection. Heads will roll !
We are losing trade value because they are playing and not trying
Plus one
Serious question, do players get pay bonuses for playing AFL (vs not playing or VFL). If so, eject all the cats - Parish, Ridley, McKay etc
Quite possibly a 100 point loss. Brisbane are getting back to premiership form and theyāll be keen to flex their muscles again.
I couldnāt care less who gets selected. Iām assuming weāll put up our usual spiritless, bruise-free shitshow of a performance. Itās a fair assumption I think.
I think Brisbane may go off the boil after playing us.
Expect Saints to lose this week.
I agree with you, but weāve been saying this for the past 4 years and then Thursday selection comes and the club drops a young player keeps all the senior players in the team. Iām so sick of it!
Cute.
Spoiler alert. They wonāt.
Gross
Conor McKenna to kick 5 this week
You need to drop 1 big name to make a statement. Enough is Enough. I bet u hardwick would do it if he was coaching.
