We will get smacked but these fixtures aren’t as bad as the ones against the mid-to-lower table ones (like St Kilda) where, for some reason, there is a degree of optimism amongst fans that it might be an elusive win. Yet still get trounced.

We know playing Brisbane there is zero hope, so a good game to experiment when it comes to personnel.

And 4:40 on a Sunday. Just where we belong. Shame though it’s 4:40pm and not 4:40am which we are far more deserving of.

Had a club ever sacked two coaches in one year?

We need to get our percentage below Richmond in case Port tank in the last game against us.

Just throw the keys to Robey, Sharp and Tsatas as starting mids.

Parish can drive himself to Ipswitch.

Out: Parish, Setterfield

In:

So surely we get some sort of selection integrity though it’s been missing for 4 years.

B. prior, Reid, mcgrath

Hb. Redman, Ridley, farrow

C. Duursms, merrett, cox

Hf. ADW, caddy, A Clarke

F. Huss, Wright, Kako

Foll. Durham, Bryan, robey, sharp

Bench tsatistics, sEH, kondog, nyugen , McKay

Parish, Caldwell committed

McKay only comes on for rotations

im happy with that - just to be clear you have parish and caldwell in the VFL?

Yeah mate… dropped to the reserves (lucky we don’t have a 3rds)

Seeing Brisbane for the first time live was eye opening.

Cats running with a rolling defensive zone when the ball was in motion, which pushed high when they had it but couldn’t roll back quick enough if they turned it over. Brisbane were happy to keep the ball in motion because their foot skills were good enough to pick through the cats zone. Once the ball was more static Cats could defend one on one which worked for them because they could react and float off. But the rolling zone wasn’t working, Brisbane just worked through it.
Defensively Brisbane played pretty much one on one the whole time, but very deep. They didn’t mind if a forward pushed up, they very much wanted to hold their position.
Guys like Reville make an insane amount of dummy leads using the full width of the ground, to open up pockets of space behind him, for him to then try and pick up a handball receive on the way through to keep the ball in motion and the cats trying to shift position on the fly.
So much unrewarded stuff happening.
Neale controls all their setups around stoppages and clearances. They know exactly where they will all be, no look handballs to position find a player because that’s where that player should be. They don’t need to win the tap, just not drastically lose it.

The only way we will get within ten goals is if Brisbane literally go home at half time to mitigate the injury risk.

See if can get my 200 bucks back this week SB giving us 10 goals in

Actually if Roberts is ready
In: Roberts, Clarke, Nguyen
Out: Parish, Setterfield, Perkins

Have Robey, Durham and Sharp start in the middle
Merrett high half forward
Roberts down back

At least you know Clarke and Nguyen will have a crack.

We wont but Caldwell, Ridley and Parish get omitted this game for me. Cox out too. I keep Setterfield in and play his support inside mid role. Its sad that we accept performances so weak and in some cases visibly going only 80%. What do you stand for Solly? This is everything you would have hated as a player from experienced names. So time to lay down the law mate.

Robey and Sharp to midfield. Clarke and Kondo comes in. Nguyen of Huss comes in. Just give me names that will fight for their spot and care.

… like Blakiston.

Agreed setterfied could be a good match upon Neale

Just play good old shoulder to shoulder, but we all know he want make those changes.

You should try following Forest … as well as Essendon
