Can one of the Auskick dads please leak the whiteboard photo this time around as well. It will be good to see if any improvements for our players.
Iâd say 12 goals.. easily tbh. Their lineup drips talent.
Lions are looking forward to a percentage booster of a win. Going to be a hard watch.
The lions can on their day put away good sides by 10 goals.
You would think that the most likely result is a 100pt belting.
We are an average side playing poorly.
My version of par or a pleasant watch is that the game doesnât feel over after the first quarter.
We have the softest talls in the league
Wright
McKay
Bryan
Reid
Jones
Cox
McMahon
Blakiston
Thatâs why May stands out because he plays with physicality which we severely lack.
Not sure about Hayes/ Vigo/Gerrynn /
Ridley unsure he actually plays on a player to be considered a key defender
Edwards seems undersized
<-------- Lid Off Thread
Blakiston and Jones arenât soft and give effort. They are just not good enough. The move to defence for Jones has come at least a season and half too late. He has attributes to succeed there but think his list spot is better used elsewhere.
Weâre going to lose by a lot like everyone predicts but the game day thread during the match will act like itâs a big suprise.
1 win in 29 games is an average side?
If so, imagine what a poor side would do!
our one and only win for the year was Melbourne.
how embarassing.
for Melbourne
Not one mention of whiteboard gate by the media going into this game.
Shows you how fkn irrelevant we are, probably forget weâre even part of the competition this weekend.
To be fair I forgot we are playing
I forgot Blitz was actually about the Essendon Football Club.
We could start the game, by ourselves, now and still wouldnât win.
Down at quarter time maybe
Bring back the flood and make it as ugly as hell.
I think this will be one of the smallest game day threads in Blitz History.
Everyone has just about given up.
Sunday 4:40pm
Our true and deserved home.
Itâs the ideal timeslot. I can watch the first half, then start making dinner at half time and forget itâs still playing in the lounge
This is one of those games where the opposition will win by whatever margin they choose. It all depends on how ruthless the Lions feel like being today. The final margin is entirely in their hands.
I have been given the afternoon off by my better half, so will be attending. Never been to The Gabba before, looking forward to the experience.
