Far out this man on the mark rule is the best thing the AFL has ever done. Unfortunately they had to ruin it with the sub rule but let’s ignore that lol.
I think it’s starting to work better as umps are calling play on a lot earlier when a player moves off the mark. This makes it fairer for the defender.
