Round 2 vs St Kilda - the morbid speculation thread

We look even more unaccountable and ■■■■ house with LAV in. The only player more unaccountable than Myers and Langford. People still overrate him hugely here because they are lonely and want to boof him, get a grip hornbags.

Draper is IMO the best ruckman at the club but internally he’s rated 3rd.

Drop Brown or Smack and play Belly forward and tell him to never leave the forward 50.

at least he kicks goals.
He is due for a break out game.

I doubt there will be any changes unless forced by injury/suspension.

Heat will be on the players to respond.

Perhaps our debt repayment strategy is to tank some games, boost our odds at the tote and then win games we arent supposed too…

Then suprisingly enough certain influential donors at the dons have big wins backing us in. :joy:

End delusion.

We really are crap.

I will add another possible in.

Hartley.

Thought we were a bit small in defense. Gws def had a height advantage.

See your Elite , just can’t think, we were terrible from beginning to end , the most laughable thing was the coach suggesting we started ok and showed something at the end when GWS had shut up shop , was sad to see Heppell and co filling there boots with cheap stats when they couldn’t get near it when the heat was on.

I would go with this

Saad, M.Brown, francis
Mckenna, hurley, ridley
Smith,parish,merrett
Tippa, mckernan, zaka
Fanta, belly, stringer
Z Clarke ,heppell,shiel
Jok, langford,mcgrath, d.clarke

In.parish,jok,z.clarke,d.clarke
Out.bags,guelfi,myers,ambrose

The game was played in our forward half for the first 10 minutes and we totally ■■■■■■ up in front of goal. Then we ■■■■ the bed.

Would you believe … Paddy Ambrose dropping an uncontested mark in front of Jason Blake?

If the players were fair dinkum we will come out breathing fire and win this game by 80 points.

But they are pea hearts so expect a 6 goal loss

Correct me if I’m wrong, is this Browns first game back since ironing out Saad? They should play this in front of the ■■■■ weak players during the week. If that doesn’t light the fire under them than we are proper farkt

Jok… really?? he was sooo poor in JLT 1. More fumbley than we were yesterday!

Mini-final!

8 point game

Watched the saints game yesterday before ours. They were pretty average and probably lucky to win.

If we lose this it’ll mean we put up another pathetic performance and woosha should go

I was tempted to turn the TV off yesterday in total disgust as to what I was watching, but I didn’t, I sat it out and the TV is still in one piece. How do the players (and coaches) turn that huge negative into a positive in six days? Obviously, hard training, a few home truths and a few changes to the make up of the side. Following yesterday’s performance, half the side could be banished to the VFL, but that’s not realistic. We must keep the runners and add a bit of height to the key positions.
Don’t laugh, here is my side:
Saad Hartley Francis

McKenna Hurley Ridley

Zaharakis Shiel McGrath

Smith Stewart Stringer

Tippa Brown Fantasia

Draper Heppell Parish

Merrett Laverde Langford TBell

IN: Parish Laverde Hartley Draper Stewart

OUT: Ambrose, Myers, Baguley Guelfi McKernan

Draper nearly put the VFL side into the Grand Final last year. He is big and strong and knows how to play the ruck position. Yesterday, we lacked height on both the backline and forward line. Hartley is a backman. He has his short comings but is 199cm tall and 100kg. in weight. A better proposition than Ambrose. Myers and Baguley are just about cooked as AFL players. Injury and time has caught up with them. Guelfi is a good learner. His time will come. Smack looked like he was short of a gallop. Brown is the swing man capable of playing any number of positions. The side needs two genuine ruckmen, hence Draper and TBell sharing the important ruck work. Don’t knock Draper, he is ready and waiting to play AFL. Stewart is a genuine CHF. Early last year he was CHF and then got dropped. Laverde is a good young player who will develop into a good forward. Injury has been his biggest problem. Hopefully that is behind him now.

Like this side. Though I’d be inclined to give Zaharakis the ■■■■, we need to set the example. Bring Clarke in for a crack
