He’s not really. Plenty of players lift a forearm for a fend off, Dangerfield / Selwood more than most. Just an unlucky injury this time, as Danger & Duckwood have also delivered to others.

When you walk the line as fine as Toby does, you are bound to step over it from time to time.
Geelong have rocked up tonight, seen the GWS outs, and assumed it’s going to be a walk in the park.
Wow.
We’ve had more than our fair share of these during the years…
- Bulldogs in 2000
- North in 2001 (but we came back, big time, to win that)
- Richmond, countless times in the Hardwick early years when they were garbage
- Melbourne under Mark Neeld
- Brisbane at Marvel (when they were spooners and we were aiming for finals)
You knew from the first minute of many of these games we were off. Geelong looked a bit arrogant from the opening minute.
