You’d be feeling somewhat nervous if you were the Hawthorn administration that ticked off letting Clarkson go. He’s still a great coach. His planning and ability to get his players to completely blanket the Dogs run and handball game has been sensational. Definitely not a past it coach…

Hawthorn have slaughtered the Dogs in the ruck, which has helped nullify the Bulldogs mids.

To actually make amends of this statement, at no stage did the Hawks sack Clarkson.
They just advised, a year and half early, that they will not renew his contract. He then told them they either pay him out for all his contract and let him go early or he will stay for the extra year and not allow Mitchell any say in anything and cause issues behind the scenes. So they let him “resign” early.
Fcking idiots.
As difficult a team to read in the whole comp the Hawks.
Have had some great wins, and dreadful losses.
Sometimes the wins have come with severely limited personnel.
Lose Bruce, drop JUH, and still Wallis can’t crack it for a game in their forward line.
