I’m still filthy about how we lost to them twice last season.

Do we go with Bryan and Draper? Or are we giving 2MP the spot?

Between Roberts and Hobbs for sub, I think the good thing about Roberts is he can fill a few roles, which ironically is working against him, so he starts as sub.

This isn’t a question about the team we’ll put out against the Suns but there’s no other thread that seems suitable - Are the three recently drafted kids who have had injuries over the pre-season on track to be right to go for the start of the VFL season?
Zak Johnson, Archer Day-Wicks and Jayden Nguyen.
Is Alwyn Jnr also a chance? The Cal Twomey article on Jan 24th said it was a 4-6 week injury post surgery so if that’s accurate he should be.
Sat March 22 is Round 1.
So as things stand right now Guelfi and Parish are the only two who have been publicly declared unavailable for round 1 from what I can gather.

I really don’t get people saying Edwards may play. If you don’t play the last praccy you’re not eligible.
It’s pretty simple.
Redman to come in so 5 out of 26 to be dropped.
2 to be dropped from Caddy Jones Wright Edwards
1 to be dropped from Hobbs and Setters
1 to be dropped from Reid McKay Ridley Hayes
1 to make way from Shiel Prior or Roberts for Redman

If it were up to me, as stated elsewhere I’d consider pushing Roberts to the wing and dropping Duurs. Setters is closer than I thought but playing only 1 and a bit quarters tells me which way Brad leans.

Blitzers getting their knickers in a twist over Duursma perhaps needing a VFL practice match to recalibrate what ever the fk went wrong the other day.
Don’t tell me he had a couple of mistakes in a meaningless practice match.
Almost every single decision he made was the wrong one, and his kicking was abhorrent.

they’ll take in gresham ahead of edwards i expect. hobbs vs setterfield is a coin toss. which ever one doesn’t make the 22 in probably in another coin toss for the sub role with roberts.
that hobbs got a full game in 1s v cats suggests that maybe they have him just ahead of setterfield but i do like the extra size setterfield gives us and he was a lot more composed with the ball.

duursma’s kicking on a narrow ground let him down but his work rate alone makes him a lock for a brad team (and mine too honestly)
