From what I remember at the time, there was concerns that they would be a negative influence on each other, from a professional perspective. Not to say they’re bad kids, it was just that their relationship wouldn’t suit a professional environment.
I’m sure many people could say, they wouldn’t be able to get much work done if they had a job with their best mate.
