Always have been. . They only won premierships in early 2000’s out of charity from the corrupt AFL. ( salary cap concessions etc).

Whoever the list manager at collingwood is, they seem to at least have a clear strategy: pick blokes that look like they’d punch you in the back of the head for looking at their missus
