Round 6 2023 Non Essendon Games

Well said.

But change ‘lose’ to ‘thrashed’. (also make Geelong earn it as we play them next week )

You’re a bum.

Will the Eagles even been able to field a team?

Dunno who to tip:

Doggies or Dockers?

If you’re in doubt you’ve got to go the home team. But both teams don’t fill me with any confidence.

Like you l have no confidence with either team, they fill me with doubt as to their abilities. The Doggies have plenty of talent but haven’t put it all together this year. They are capable of the odd, angry shot across the bows of more fancied teams but no way they can sustain it. If the Doggies lose to Freo you can write off their season.

Dogs.

Were quite decent last week.
Freo are very, VERY lucky to have notched any wins at all this year.

My guess is he’ll have the game he always has: 5-10 disposals, 1 first quarter goal before he’s too gassed, then in the 2nd qtr he’ll cop a knock where he looks like he’s dead only to come back on the ground a few minutes later running around just fine, then he’ll drop a couple of marks or miss a set shot and play with loser’s limp for the rest of the match.

I think swans will use him at half back, even KPD (even though he’s been playing forward at VFL level),
He looks fitter than he was at EFC.
Expect to see quite a bit of intercept marking.
Imagine he will be gassed by 3 quarter time though

Francis on Cameron or Hawkins or Rohan, - maybe he gets Rohan.

Witts plays last week Freo probably lose, Did the Dogs go from Adelaide to Perth? Or come home?
All that being said I think Freo get it done at home. Just.

Got picked as Amartey kpf injured. Francis been playing fwd in 2’s

Hawkins 198cm 104kgs - Fox 185cm 84kgs
Cameron 196cm 94kg ???
Rohan 189cm 93kg - Blakey 195cm 84kg (want Blakey pretty loose, as quarterback)

Swans have Francis (193cm 92kg) on the bench, and also have McLean (197cm) on the bench who can play forward.
Heeney (185cm) plays tall as well. and Hayward (186cm)

Mclean, McDonald, Hayward and Heeney will be tall enough in the fowardline. + Papley 6 goals last week will get the job done.

Francis will go to Cameron or Hawkins, he has played there before.

Go Aaron Francis and Go Swans.

I can stomach Diggers’ Sydney infatuation for 1 Round.

Still can’t work out who to tip tonight

Who’s playing?

Oh wait, Freo/Dogs. Yeah tough call, they both suck and both could win or lose on any given day. I think I would lean Freo because it is at home for them.

The important thing is that everyone watching this loses.

Freo and Dogs are both garbage bottom 10 teams. I went for Freo purely because they are playing at home and I think the dogs are a mentally weak team with plenty of scars from last year’s elimination final.

Some of us will watch because we don’t have a life.

I’m only watching to enjoy the lols associated with Western Bulldogs persisting with Rory Lobb when they have Sam Darcy playing VFL.

Yeah that is a surprise given how good he looked once he got picked last year. Is going to be a super player at either end. I guess you bring Lobb over to the club, he’s going to get every chance isn’t he?
