hell i remember around 2017/18 they said the same about brissy when they were near the bottom.
I think it more comes down to what WC want more, do they want a win to alleviate some of the noise, or do they want a respectable loss.
Leaving out oscar suggests they want a respectable loss.
I’d argue only if we came with an ANZAC Day like spirit we are capable of it. I don’t think we’re that good so any win by 4-5 goals tonight would be I think our level.
If we’re a bit flat though, then that’s when we’re in trouble… As we’ve shown in recent years b/c we aren’t good enough to be slightly off and beat many teams.
They were terrible last week. They’ve been under allot of scrutiny in Perth as a result. They get McGivern and Kelley back, both good and experienced players.
I’d expect them to have a go tonight and be much better. They will think they’re a sneaky chance tonight against a team that could play like gliders…. It might be tougher than you think.
