For me, it's not just about how Belly will perform, it's that he will require the 1st or 2nd best defender, particularly height wise.
It might be that Belly does S.F.A forward, but allows Carslisle or Joe to get a lesser defender and therefore cut loose.
In regards to rucking, well if his ankle isn't quite right, rotate him forward/bench.
Coaches aren't that dumb. They will see he is out of form and he will have some hack blanketing him 10 min into the first quarter. Rather than make that mistake, let's put in someone who can preform. Especially as We have very limited alternatives. Joe hasn't set the world on fire yet, Carlisle is horribly out of form and Winders won't get up. We are seriously lacking in goal kickers! Last thing we need is to put someone down there who can't pull his weight.
Oh, one other thing. ■■■■ MERRITT. Not either of ours, that ranga tool, baby hughey who goes out of his way to maim players every time he gets his hands on them. one of the reasons I think Ambrose should get a recall, he was brutal with his tackling and attack on the ball, maybe he can clean up a few of those ■■■■■■, like they did to us last year. Hell i'd even accept belly getting a couple of weeks suspension if he takes out Merrett.

I desperately want Merritt to be on the receiving end of what will henceforth be remembered as "the ugliest incident in AFL football."
