TBH I don’t think they ignored them, umps were clearly on the wrong side to see them, both umpires at that end were in the centre corridor and the throws were on boundary side. It was poor setup by the umps then.

I’m not sure how the umps can pay holding the ball again tonight. The precedent so far has been that anything’ goes.

Guys watch where the umps are, they were setting up badly so that they couldn’t see all the play. They are missing them because they are setup wrong and the Cats have clearly seen that and used it.

BTW the Saints lead the free kicks: 5 - 3, not that it means much.
