I agree @saladin - however players have mentioned that at start of the season, after week one the body is very sore going into week two.
I give us a big chance this week.

From memory , the only opening round side from last year who lost in round 1 was Richmond, who lost to another opening round side.
I’ll be shocked if Hawthorn don’t finish with far more run and fitness than us next week.

Fremantle beat Brisbane last year in Round 1.
A week after Brisbane played in Round 0… and the Dockers didn’t.

Collingwood, Sydney, Carlton, Richmond all played in Round 0 and Round 1.
