I used to watch the early James Bond movies and laugh about the preposterous premise of an insanely rich, evil, mad, murderous dictator threatening the West with nuclear weapons.
I though, yeh-nah, no human could be that evil .
Fantastic news this. Now someone needs to figure out how to route oil to Hungary and Slovakia (?) Then we cut them off by the end of the year.
Regardless of the war result now Russia you think is economically destroyed for the next two decades
The rest of the EU should ban the Russian petro stuff and leave Hungary on its own.
This is massive, they are ready. Game on Ukraine
6 recruitment offices have burnt down in recent days. There must be a lot of dodgy wiring and office kitchen appliances left on. Can’t think of any other reason for them to catch fire…
Quality thread by one of the best mapping analysts of the conflict to date.
The defensive picture hasn’t changed drastically from what I brainstormed yesterday. What is really interesting that I didn’t expect is that Ukraine has decided that the Russians are now weak enough to justify a broad counterattack.
Going to be a very interesting few days ahead. Russia needs to give Putin a win by May 9th. Ukraine feels they can give him a gift wrapped bloody nose instead.
Ive no problem with that whatsoever …
You’d expect that the closer it gets to EU countries being weaned off Russian oil and gas, the more likely it is that those pipelines are involved in a “Special Combustion Operation”.
I am not sue why those pesky anti Putin people somewhere along these mega pipelines have not already sprung a leak in them.
The fact that he runs over to pick up the flaming Molotov that didn’t smash
Fark
Could the key reason be that Ukraine now has the heavy weapons to be able to do so?
They’ve been just defending their positions waiting for it all to arrive. Still causing massive casualties as is but now it’s going to level up.
Even noted from that previous post regarding the bridge they have US supplied MLRS units with 300k range now.
They played the same game at Kyiv. Absorbed the punch and then looked for weaknesses. Last time went ok.
