Can we even believe that, has he been seen alive since? Does he still have both legs ? If he survives that, he will probably lose his appetite for visits to the front.
Russia lies about almost everything about the war so the question is will we ever see Gerasimov again?
Clearly he was there when the attack happened, and it was not a fun experience for him.
Ukraineās ability (along with US intelligence) to be able to target Russian command capability is a major factor in this war.

Seems like Russia will mobilize, but I donāt think it will do them any good to call up lots of people without multi-year training and equipment.
