Thereās a lot of Ru sympathisers worldwide. This propaganda just adds more material for them to distribute and āraise question marksā. People just get sucked in.
A smart guy I know was chatting about the war and started questioning about US motives, why are the arming UA, etc. After a while, it seemed fairly obvious to me that he just hears lots of various reports, takes them all in and gives them equal weight. No filter or logic applied. So for him, he has taken the Elon Musk position - UA gives up Crimea, donāt join NATO or EU, a whole pile of concessions to just stop the war now.
This kind of general public position is surely what RU is chasing, the general western pressure to just end it all now and leave them in some kind of place where RU still finish up with some kind of annexed land in Crimea and Donbas. The Elon Musk proposal. And lots of people are eating it up it seems.
I had someone like this telling me its all a conspiracy, and the proof was that Ukraine was fighting so well. āThey are a 3rd world country, do you seriously believe that they can beat the Russians!ā.
