Refusals to agree to Russian calls for a ceasefire for 7 January can be used as Russian propaganda furthering allegations of religious persecution within Ukraine.
Ukraine has officially stepped back from calls to ban Russian Orthodoxy, instead referring to targetting of individual clergy traitors.
I think the variety of equipment that Ukraine is getting access to is such an interesting advantage if you forget about the challenges with logistics (training, maintenance, munition supply and repairs/spares).
It makes it really hard for the Russians to get inside the Ukr OODA loop and presents a number of novel offensive and defensive options

It is now more than half a century since there was left minority that was understood by both supporters and opponents as being militant supporters of democracy and liberty.
For many decades there has been a monotonous drone about how capitalist free markets are the very definition of liberty and that either mainstream “center left” careerists or the pseudoleft nutjobs are “the left”.
Smart. These missiles are being replaced with a new model, so finding a way to fire them from soviet launchers is a great bang for buk air defence.

If the new Counter UAS systems that will be mass produced in 2 months are like the “drone gun” pictured they won’t help much. Translation below:
But it is plausible that the temporary fixes that make civilian WiFi drones less vulnerable while still using the same cheap WiFi chips on different frequencies could become useless.
Whether or not they get it done in a couple of months, it must be expected fairly soon.
The ideas I have listed as possible elements of a Russian cultural or world view (to summarise) refer to Russian/Russia’s
- greatness;
- colonisation & view of underling states;
- defeat of (western) fascism;
- conservative values;
- need to defend its borders against (NATO) aggression;
- sacrifice by the people for the greater good
- view of suffering as a moral virtue, rewarded in the afterlife
- common folk as cynical, critical of govt, but also passive.
Putin undoubtedly uses, misuses and manipulates these ideas for his own ends, but he did not create them. I enjoyed the Katz video you reference but it only refutes the claim that ordinary Russians are passive. It doesn’t comment on any of the other 7 ideas.
I’m not suggesting this list is great, but it is probably a whole lot better than your continuing critique of it
