Russia invades Ukraine - 4 - from 14 March 2023

Latest media reporting on the Black Sea drone retrieval refer to US conceding that it would be difficult to retrieve because of sea depth.
The current marine traffic maps of the Black Sea show a straight line of ship movement from the entry to just south of Novorossiysk, apart from three with GPS turned off closer to Crimea. One is heading north in the direction of Sevastopol.

That is very funny

If there is one thing that I have learnt, ‘blyat’ can be added to the end of any sentence and it wouldn’t be out of place. An exclamation mark, if you will.

Set against reports of Wagner ammunition shortages, there are daily reports of shelling of Ukraine towns and infrastructure, evacuation of civilians.
Is the ammunition shortage specific to combat troops on the front lines?

But if regaining Bakhmut is considered to be so important to Russia, why would it withhold ammunition supplies to Wagner fighting forces there?

He noted that production time for a Caesar had reduced from 44 months to 18 months.
The French defence procurement industry is being overhauled to reflect that it was now on a war footing. There had been adjustments in ammunition production arrangements, but the biggest issue was supply arrangements with sub contractors. ( sounds familiar, US manages with the Buy America Act and eccentricities like the Jones Act)
