The corruption of the officers l can understand and l wouldn’t be surprised if more than a few of them have found ways to profit from the dead.
However, there is a much greater problem that RU troops now face. The rotting corpses with have attracted rats and various disease epidemics could break out at any time among the ranks, a public health disaster is waiting to happen. The bigger rats aren’t in the trenches, they are in uniform back at HQ.
