Breaking news. Russians to scream fowl.

Russia notices NATO preparing for war. Well, what action could have caused such an equal and opposite reaction I do wonder.

America spent trillions and trillions of dollars on armaments keeping up with the USSR in a ‘Cold War’. But now that there’s a hot war, they take their bat and ball and fark off home to leave someone else 20% their size doing the fighting (and dying).

Edit: 20% is a wild guestimate. Probably much less if talking GDP.

Would be nice if they managed to add the 800 casualties in that strike.

Not sure if it’s just more articles/reporting bias coming through lately but since the attack on the airfields Ukraine has had more momentum, more good news. Not sure if this is to distract from Russian gains or lack of US support, but the vibe seems to be Ukraine managing to ■■■■ Putin off without external help.

Interesting argument. Ukraine repelled #2 army assault with a bunch of Javelins. Pushed them back with the small amounts of HIMARS systems (40) and a small amount of Patriots have done well protecting their skies.

If they had access to advanced to stealth fighters bombers and HARM missiles they could have taken out areas of air defence and turned the initial phase of the war into a turkey shoot.

Now they are bogged down in a regional mass warfare situation and this seems to be where they are saying numbers over quality is more effective.

Probably a shorter distance if they went via the Arctic.

We have been approaching this milestone for some time, yet I’m still shocked and disgusted.
