How many genuine champions have Essendon produced in the last 20 years?
Therein lies the problem

sack and the core of players that don’t care - tonight was a sum of everything that Scott has created over 2 years.
Well in a league full of blokes that apparently fit that description they sure do play dumb as dog ■■■■ far more often.
I hope he brings his own mouthguard to training and punches himself in the face.
Fraud.
That’s just his resting ■■■■■ face though really.
when playing Essendon
I’m joining in the pile in on Heppell poor poor poor selection decision. Utterly cooked.
Parish should have had a run in the ressies. not that this loss is his fault.
Wright didnt deserve a call up.
werent a lot of positivea, only one for me was Jones.
What does this resultist stuff people talk about mean?
There’s no single point of blame. But the coach is the central point of blame. No sense of adventure. No passion. No ability to instil self-belief. No ability to formulate a cohesive and effective game plan.
The problem was, the two guys we really wanted - Choco and Bomba - were coaching in the grand final. And we wanted it sorted before then. Both had interest too, but instead of waiting, we promoted the VFL coach.
Man this Club doesnt deserve you lot
Really it does not deserve the loyalty that we show
Holy ■■■■ please fold
The journo’s at his presser weren’t smart enough to ask him the obvious question.
“Brad, why do think the players’ effort and intent has fallen so dramatically away with a finals spot on the line?”
That is the question Brad Scott must find the answer to.
I think that Jones bloke would go ok at CHF! He is not fast enough to defend ball transition on the wing.
More than this?
IIRC we announced him the day before the Grand Final
Nope this 100% on the players
We could have appointed Williams. We could have appointed Hardwick. We appointed ■■■■■■■ Knights.
It hurts us, not them
Hey, we were top 4 for half the year. You should be celebrating!
The good news is that I am at home in front a warm fire, with beer and whiskey to hand. The bad news is that I froze my arse off watching perhaps the worst display I can recall, given the opposition. I am I suppose one of the happy clappers, in that I felt despite recent form, that we were on the up. I am disabused of that thinking. Absolutely abysmal performance, bar about 3 players…Merrett, Duursma and Durham. Jones was ok. Horrible, horrible effort. There must be big changes next week
