I remember in 2017 when we lost to the lions, Xavier Campbell came out and said the players performance was unacceptable. The players weren’t happy about that criticism. Clearly nothing has changed. Our players are just happy being AFL players and couldn’t care less about actually being a decent side. I’m not wasting another dime on this club.

I know there were a few posts here on blitz about people being done with the club for a bit.
But there is a bit of chatter on social media about a boycott for Essendon supporters for the Freo game.
Wonder if that will actually happen.

I’ll probably go only because I’ve already paid for it. Short leash, though.
For some reason I was sure the game was starting in the afternoon my time. Had some work to do in the morning then off to a meeting and got home just in time to watch the game. I set everything up to watch the game and saw that it was over…and the score. I thought this can’t be right, I must be looking at the 2023 page or something. What a shock! Disastrous. Glad I missed it and got to do something useful instead.

I havent been to a game since 2019 and I’m not looking like going for a while yet.
I want to see us play a season with quality, tough footy.
Ive seen us lose by bigger margins than this having a red hot go, but yesterday was just pure cream puff

The one thing Stants did well at the EFC was coach the reserves, he was soon removed from that gig. Not only do we not select players in there best positions, we do the same with the coaches, what a shambles.
