A good chance of playing these guys Week 1.

Cox is now gone for the year and has given us a problem or 2 with his height in previous games, even against Hooker.

We won’t need Hooker in defence, in fact he won’t have a match up.

Hurls — DeGoey
Ambrose — Mihocek
Saad — Stephenson
McKenna — Thomas
Gleeson/Redman — Elliot/WHE

Francis — whichever tall they decide to play forward.
Whether Ben Reid gets back in the side, Moore forward, or possibly Roughead who played some forward against Adelaide.

We should play Hooker forward, along with Smack.
Work over Grundy as much as possible with TBC and Smack.
Play String as much mid as possible.
Keep Brown in so we have enough forward coverage.

No, we won’t be playing Hooker, Smack, Brown & String all in the forwardline at the one time.
Make those Collingwood tall defenders (esp. Howe) think about defending, not just plucking marks.

The above is dependant on a favourable weather forecast.

I’d rather play Collingwood at the G Week 1.
No one really knows who will be on in the first Week of the Finals.
I don’t buy into all this X team is cooked crap.
Truth is, we don’t know.

Collingwood are a very good side, but that’s the experience I want for our players.
We’re a chance !

Unprecedented given same scenario not applied to missing AFL matches via other suspensions.

Absolute joke. If it’s 10 AFL games rather than 10 rounds he should have been playing VFL every week. But he wasn’t because it’s not.

If it’s ok for Cyril to come straight into a GF after missing 8 weeks I’m sure a fit Stephenson could cope coming straight back in for an Elimination final

Just beat them Friday night thus killing their Top 4 hopes.

Imagine the outcry if this was one of our players. Even the club media release at the time of the suspension mentions 10 weeks, not matches. Next time we have a suspended player for match related incident we should try to use this loophole and watch how quickly it gets closed.

If only the AFL had scheduled our game on the Sunday then none of this would have happened.
