I think Buckley paid it

While everyone was bashing Eddie McGuire from pillar to post, the Collingwood president was quietly mourning the death of his mother, Bridie.

It was revealed on Tuesday the broadcaster’s mum passed away overnight. McGuire paid tribute to her on his Triple M breakfast radio show, playing Rod Stewart’s “Everything I Own” in her honour.

This woman is an absolute legend. Watch it for a laugh if you haven’t seen it already.

Imagine watching his first game with her?! She’d swear like a sailor haha.

Imagine her polite comments to an umpire if they pay a free kick against her son?

not everyone can be choir boys, school captains and prefects.

boys from NT, so what if his mums a little rough around the edges, was a great video.

He must have performed well to be getting a shot soo early, another midfielder who our blitz draft guys had their eye on to help us with our inside mid deficiencies.

I don’t think anyone is particularly having a go, just found it funny, I am sure the same thing happens with our players.

I want to be mates with her. Her response is fantastic!

“what, did the whole team fall over or something?”

cue jokes of wouldn’t have gotten a look in with dodoro with a mother like that, not from a good family, didn’t captain the school choir team etc

Dodoro wouldn’t have got to his background once he stated he wants to be a big bodied mid.

Yes Dodoro is famously not a fan of half backs who might transition to midfield. No no no.

Anyone else hearing the rumours about a certain Collingwood player ordering a “special service” to his room while at hub?
