Bennell is in hot water over the Covid breach. What a peanut. He looks like he has blown his last chance to have a worthwhile career in the game. It is doubtful that the Dees will forgive and forget this time.

Melbourne has been hit with a $50,000 fine and Harley Bennell has been suspended for four games after the latter’s COVID-19 protocol breach.
The AFL on Sunday confirmed Bennell will head home from Queensland “as soon as possible”, with the 27-year-old found to have left the club’s high performance centre and visit an unapproved premises.
Melbourne has also released a statement in response to the penalties, with club CEO Gary Pert labelling Bennell’s actions “selfish”.
They beat the Bombers, and they dare to dream , only to have “GropeGate” emerge, then Bennels idiotic infraction, then the Dogs win.

Melbourne did not deserve to be in the finals. They are brittle. In the end, with a dominant ruckman who was BOG, and tapping to advantage at will, we broke even on clearances. Melbournes midfield are supposed to be stars of the AFL firmament. Sorry, Essendon, a V6 firing on one cylinder were within 2 kicks of them close to the end.
