I have always respected Betts as a player, and l respect even more now as a player for calling out this rubbish.
Regardless of when the comments were made, they now seem completely out of touch and disrespectful to the trauma the camp has caused to several of the players who were required to attend. In an ideal world he would relinquish his board position in shame.
I should point out those comments are old and not made after Betts’ book extract but it still goes to show his propensity to misuse one position for the benefit of the other.
I fully realize they are old quotes, designed to gloss over any criticism of the camp.
On radio this morning Roo said that he hoped Eddie could move on.

I did an escape room a few years ago as part of a friend’s birthday party. One guy got hammered drunk and threw up in the crawl space between two rooms when only half the group had gone through.
We were asked to leave pretty quickly after that. Turns out escaping was actually pretty simple.
