Getting real sick of losing!!! Always seems the same. Will lose next week. It’s a curse!!
Cooked.
Shiel started off pretty good round 1 IMO only mid in the first half
Wonder if his Tesla is fixed, sounded pretty bad.
I guess McGraths flat tyre in the mercedes was a little while ago, funny as only finding out when your in the middle of nowhere that it doesnt have a spare tyre.
This is all on you man!
So far it’s been a bit of a dumpster fire hasn’t it.
I thought well perhaps we are getting a little better against Brisbane. But it was our home game.
Let’s see how the year pans out. Surely they will put four decent quarters together sometime.
(Hopefully in the one game)
Thats good!

Need more indigenous players they bring flair and X factor
We have only one match winner in Stringer
Imagine having Willie Rioli and Tippa in our forward line!!! Make a massive difference.
Look at last 10 years of winning side they have it
When the Murphy fella does his report every week no one gives a rats clacker who ran the most metres ,what we want to know is how the injured players are progressing. So instead of giving us useless info on who impressed you with there running patterns during a game, just give us the info on what you are actually paid to do and tell us how You are looking after the injured players and how long until they are back
So once again ■■■■■■■ cwood get a helping hand from afl on anzac day! Week prior they play thurs night in bris we play sunday(!) at docklands… so they have a nice 11 days off to prepare while we have 8. Level playing field, yeah right!
11 days is more disruptive as it breaks the normal week to week rhythm
I don’t think that is going to make any difference.
We got a week between games this round, Collingwood got five days. It all balances out.
I hope you are right and i am wrong… but i dont like it, nice bit of extra recovery for them.
Seems Gold Coast have also improved
You would say the only game that is a gimmie right now is North and probably Hawks
Wouldn’t surprise me if we win no more than 5 games
Right in the gut. Deal out Mets for EFC
Can anyone recall the earliest we have ever celebrated St. Essington Day? If we lose every game from here up to Round 13 would that make it likely?
The Hawks look like they’ll make finals on current form (and they will deserve to). Unless we can turn our form around, I would be shocked if we beat them.
We’re clearly playing 3d chess. Spoon this year gives us the best player and the Davey boys.
Here’s the form ladder for the past 5 weeks (No Cookies | Herald Sun).
Interesting to see we are only one of 2 teams (Geelong being the other) to defeat 2 of the Top 8 sides (we also lost to Carlton). So, we are 2-1 against Top 8 sides whilst the Demons, strangely, are struggling at 1-3 against the Top 8 sides. Ditto Saints are 1-3 against the Top 8 sides.
Clash against the Suns this Sunday should be a ripper judging b y both teams form over the last 5 weeks.
Pies and Sydney’s ladder positions somewhat overstated given they each have played only 1 Top 8 side of the past weeks (albeit for wins each).
Amazing what sensible game plan changes has done for us. Pity they didn’t come about 8 weeks earlier.
I think its a reflection of the cattle we have back and match fit. I feel its been a bit understated how important the likes of langers/stringer/snelling are to the structure and experience of the side. There is too much pressure and expectation put on young players, some people expect them to come in and play like 100 game players from day 1.
I totallty agree with the dissapointment and anger directed at the players for the lack of effort earlier in the year becuase that should be a non-negotiable.
I also feel that the younger lads need to develope that winning culture so even if late wins won’t help our draft hand it should help in the long run.
