Season 2024 - Hawthorn

True, but they were playing so poorly I doubt it would have resulted in an extra win.

Rd 1… perhaps ?

End of the day they finished 2 games from second and had a higher percentage so if things click next year there is a chance they could push top 4 and from there anything happens. They could of course go backwards and miss the 8 but with them shoring up their defence I think they might do better unfortunately

Will our predictions for round 1 next year be better than our 2024 season predictions for Hawthorn?

Be a pretty safe bet to put them finishing a long way in front of us

I tend to agree. We aren’t spot on about these things though!

Port V Hawthorn round one would be great. Either that or Hawks/Port in gather round.

I’m pretty sure Ess v Haw in Rd 1 is an unofficial lock in the fixture now.

Which is fine by me. Lets take on what will be no doubt the most hyped team over the off-season. Pressure will be on them to perform, not us.

Short grip poser. Ginnivan doesn’t know how to hold a baseball bat, whatever use he puts it to.

Ginnivan just said on 7 news that he’s heading to the States with a few of the Essendon players.

I thought I heard that.

Our players just can’t keep away from undesirable associates.

hopefully his talent rubs off on some of our small forwards

Can he teach them how to milk some frees?

Just teach our players to have a bit of ■■■■ about them.

First he’d have to teach the umpires to pay them

Was he ooc?

Gee going a bit early what if next season Hawks go backwards i wouldn’t be extending his contract unless they can back up next year or go one step further

They’re going to be a good side.
Better just accept it because the guy is a fkn good coach.

Much…much better than Brad !

Given the age profile of Hawthorn, even if they do go backwards in 2025, it’s not really a concern. They’ve shown what they could be capable of. Extending Mitchell is a no brainer for Hawthorn.
