Do you think Mitchell is the right coach for Hawthorn?
He has never come across as a nurturing type in the way a Chris Fagan seems to be. He always seemed to have an interesting relationship with his teammates, very antagonistic approach to opponents. Maybe this is why I feel like he’s not being genuine with his approach.
It’s almost like he’s lacking people skills and is in fact a stupid thug.

the average hawk supporter should feel very satisfied with 4 flags over past 16 years, and be totally comfortable with a full rebuild managed by a young coach.
but they won’t be, because humans are never satisfied, and the media football gossip mongers love to pretend there is pressure on the coach just because they said there is pressure on the coach.

Had a few Hawk supporters complain about the Blanck injury, said hes not rated externally, but with a already fragile spine, they have become vulnerable and forced Sicily to play taller, less interecpts.

Is Sam Mitchell an England Cricket player? Could say they’re having a crack if it wasn’t an absolute flogging while you have a tantrum in the coaches box.
I don’t think it is so much that they cut too hard, I think it is that they started too late. By the time they realised they had to rebuild their oldest players were too old and they were too rubbish. Their problem is that if their rebuilds take too long without ‘hope’ there, kids and good middle aged players coming out of contract will simply leave.

Mitchell is our of his depth as senior coach. The favourite soon as head coach model never works. Succession plans also nearly never work, particularly with someone as inexperienced as Mitchell.
