l agree. Esava is very ordinary player. He has looked marginally better at PA because Alir has been covering for him.

All the players they bought in last year apart from Soldo are pretty average
Zerk-Thatcher has been pretty reasonable for them.
Zerk has struggled of late too. Fair to say their moves to shore up their defence haven’t worked as planned. They are one of the poorer defensive groups once the ball gets in their D50. Port have been so strong as a front half pressure team and that has protected their defence, certainly earlier this year. But now that pressure from midfield has dropped off, it’s exposing their backline.

Dixon and Finlayson now cooked, they are starting to look vulnerable up forward. Would be a good trade for them to get say a Peter Wright for who from Port ?
I know he hasn’t shown much yet, but I like some signs from Lord.
If they can help us bump up to Kako in the same deal, then yay.
