Season 2025 - Geelong

Of course Dangerfield only got a fine. Anyone else would have been suspended.

Danger is no longer pres of the AFLPA

Was a rooster, now a feather duster.

No they wouldn’t. Almost any player in any team would have only copped a fine.

We’re still waiting on an update on Tanner Bruhn’s finger injury you corrupt ■■■■■.

Any progress?

Out of a splint? Surgeon must have given his prognosis?

Hate these a$sholes. For all the opposition hate that gets discussed here on blitz, these guys get off far too lightly.

You don’t reckon they’d now be being paid substantially more than when recruited?

Interesting listen, especially after Chris Scott’s comments the other day… It sounds like Bulldogs are trying to get him delisted (or at least stop paying him) Anyone want to bet that Geelong will get him for nothing next year? They’ve probably already sorted out the contract.

I’d much rather take the risk on Ugle-Hagan than Tarryn Thomas.

If his family has Essendon connections, and can get him to pull his head in playing for a club he likes.

An off season of Ugle-Hagan, Reid, El-Achkar & Sweid would be pretty decent for our 2026 chances and the membership department.

I feel the JUH ■■■■ is a bit overblown.

He’s a kid who clearly has checked out of playing professionally football for their he time being.

He doesn’t seem to actually be doing anything that an ordinary 20 year old isn’t already doing.

If he can regain his thirst for being a professional footballer I’d be happy to consider him.

The afl media is toxic, and I think they’re doing more damage to JUH than what JUH is doing to himself at the moment.

They smell blood in the water and are eagerly awaiting for him to really ■■■■ up so they can all generate clicks off his misfortune. It’s sad.

If Hardie’s right and JUH is only turning up to collect his money and basically refusing to train or play then it’s him who’s damaging his brand, not the media.

If he’s checked out of playing professional footy, why would he train?

I don’t know what’s gone on behind closed doors, but clearly the relationship has broken down. I’m not sure why, but it seems bitter.

That isn’t in and of itself and indictment on JUH.

It has Cam MCCarthy vibes to me, wanted out of Giants, sat out year as they wouldn’t play ball, then was a shell of the player he used to be at Fremantle.

Getting Jamarra to a good club and rediscovering love for footy at his childhood club, fresh start with better support. will be the best result for football.

all well and good to say he’s not doing anything any other 20 year old wouldn’t be doing. But he’s also not showing up to his job, and collecting his full wages. He then rubs the club’s nose in it by not training, nor even attending most club matches including his clubs 100th anniversary night …

Meanwhile he is attending other sporting events in the same week (NBL, NRL etc).

The guy is taking the ■■■■ and deserves all the criticism he’s copping. AFL media may be toxic, but ain’t as toxic as JUH currently is to his employer, and his teammates.

You watch him come out late in the season seeking a trade. The dogs should flat out refuses a trade unless they get overs. Let him sit it out like he has so far this year.

I agree.

He may be doing some dumb ■■■■, but that’s ok. Most do when they are young.

He may not want to play footy at the moment, that’s ok he can do whatever he wants. There is an issue of him being paid and not fulfilling his duties, but contract etc who knows what is written in

It doesn’t make him a bad person, just a person. The contract that allows him to do this is an issue, but that’s the AFLPA and the industry that allows it. He is taking the ■■■■ a bit for sure.

I do suspect he will find his way to another club and they will unlock something with him etc. and that club will likely be Geelong.

I think WB will delist him and I fully expect him to announce he’s going to Geelong as soon as the delistment is finalised.

I’ve mentioned before that I live near Whitten Oval and go running there regularly. Every time I’ve been there in recent weeks when training is on Ugle-Hagan has been present.

Is the allegation that he just wants to party, and that the Dogs are paying a lot of money for an asset they therefore can’t use? Or is it something more sinister?

If he’s going to be delisted, he should be forced to sit out a full year before being classed as a DFA. So he can walk to a club he wants to end of 2026. Otherwise, put your paperwork in for the draft

Dògs won’t want him to sit out for a year, if they go down that route he walks out and they get nothing. They will do a deal while he has some trade currency Doggies have been down this road before with Stringer.
