If the charges are serious enough, then fark “the player”…what about the damage “the player” has done to the victim?
But of course, the AFL couldn’t give a toss about the victim as long as the AFL’s rep isn’t tarnished.

And today
Bruhn and another man were spoken to by detectives from Victoria Police’s Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team last Thursday at Geelong Police Station.
I wonder how long they are going to run with the “injured finger with no set return date” thing

Strange that the club have still had him training in the last couple of weeks -after he was charged.
The AFL must be very very tempted to compensate the victim to now make a Statement of No Complaint to try to force the DPP to withdraw charges given the victim would no longer give evidence and that relying on the victims original written statement would be deemed insufficient to convict.
Or they could just be honest and admit the truth.

Chris Scott was complaining how AFL Stadium favoured StKilda.
FFS mate, you are a great coach and your record is the best in the business, but that has been significantly influenced by the 11 games a year played at the most irregular shaped ground in the comp.
Was it that you had the 4 points inked in, or that Danger looks likely to do time for his elbow, or that your MVP Stewart is going to be out for weeks. Or you are a sore loser.
If you watched Geelong completely dissassembled by Gold Coast last season, you can tell they are fragile.
