Season 2025 - Hawthorn

That’s why hawthorn experience success on a regular basis. Nobody is bigger than the club, and they make brutal decisions.

Emotion doesn’t come into it

Only takes one or two errant decisions around your spiritual leaders for it to all fall apart.

True

But if players know the club is ruthless with players, it keeps them on edge to keep playing well. If they slack off, they might be gone

They also know that the club they play for will do everything possible to be successful.

I have no issue with clubs treating it as a business, just as players do

Yeah they are completely ruthless. Will even encourage players wives to terminate pregnancies and break up with their partners.

Do we have spiritual leaders to make errant decisions about?
Hawks traded:
Hodge (kinda)
Mitchell
Lewis
Gunston
Birchall
Smith
I’m sure if a club can get rid of 20-odd premierships (include 2x guys that were captain in 4 combined), who knows how many B&Fs and AAs then bounce back we would be fine in that regards (off field and coaching I wouldn’t trust us).

Not only that they were racist towards the likes of Cyril yep but they are a ruthless club

Port has shown how to beat them.

Just physically smash them and shut down their run off half back.

They really are a physically small team.

Isn’t that the blue print to beat every team in the comp lol?

Mitch has issues.
Up forward- Ginny, Punky, Gunners, Fizz, 2 phones- serious cracks emerging.
A trio of vanilla essence mids - Mackenzie, MacDonald, Ward and now injuries to Worps, Nashi and a likely season ender for
Daysie
But it’s not all gloom.
Mitch has decided to rob the backline of his most creative defender Sic, and sent him up forward to kick the odd goal and foistered the creativity role upon those two big bad lumbering B’s, Barassi and Battle- the chaperone and the pretzel.
Gorgeous.
But as bltn rightly points out and he’s an honourable defender of the whoreks, 4-1 is not a concern and Mitch has scrimma and a dear set to return
In Bambi we trust.

We smashed them, but butchered the ball.

He’s taking the ■■■■ out of their ‘we’re all so tight and gangsta’ nicknames

As much as I dislike Port, it was lovely to watch them dismantle those slimey ■■■■■■.

Yep, and I hate the cats, but will be good for them to knock off Hawks Easter Monday too.

but after that Hawks have a few easy sides, they would be expected to win.

Eagles
Tigers

Dees have a couple of easy matches coming up too.
MCG Freo - L
Tigers - W
Eagles - W

Agree with you, but my only hope for the Dees is that the best version of the Tigers shows up and maybe gives them a shock.

Eagles are beyond easy beats, maybe we even beat them this coming week.
